Quite a few years ago I lost my wallet. One of the forms of ID that went with it was my SCUBA certification cards. Somewhere around the middle of October, I went to my local dive shop to see about getting a replacement for the Rescue Diver, at least.
As it turned out, I was informed that the agency would have my photo on file. I was a bit wary of that photo, because at least one of my c-cards had me in a trench-coat with what can only be described as a Simply Red bouffant covering one eye (though I think that was my AOW, not the Rescue Diver card I'm replacing) and the other two were also regrettable, but not on the same order.
Oh well, It'll be good for quite a few laughs. So I've been waiting with more than a little curiosity for more than 2 months now (I'd originally hoped to have it for my Thanksgiving trip to Mexico, but since my attempts to dive there were thwarted long before I ever had to present a c-card, it didn't matter)
